Becoming All That We Can Be
While Madison House has trained and coordinated an enormous number of UVA student volunteers for over 50 years alongside our hundreds of partners in the Charlottesville community, we look further than just the past or the present. The leadership training and the community service we facilitate builds character and imparts values that our student volunteers carry with them for the rest of their lives, no matter where they go. Our mission is not just about what a student can do today — but what they can do now to become the community-minded leaders we believe they will be tomorrow.
So it is important that, as we move forward, we focus not just on what Madison House currently means to students and the community, but also what the organization can become in the future. As the world continues to change, we need to be able to evolve with it, which is why we prioritize Securing the Future of Madison House.
